Attendance & The Rainbow Day
The Rainbow Day is divided into 2 sessions:
09:00 am - 12:00 midday
12:30 pm - 15:30 pm
As children become more confident in the nursery setting, they may bring with them a packed lunch, arrive at 09:00am and stay until 13:00pm allowing a 4 hour session.
Parents may of course combine the morning and afternoon sessions so that their children experience a whole day at Rainbow.
We are able to offer extended hourse for our pupils and offer care for children from 08:30am until 16:00pm by negotiation.
The nursery operates for 3 terms of which may vary from 10 - 14 weeks, with a half-term break in the middle. Our term dates are generally the same as local Primary schools.
Children are welcome at Rainbow from 2 years old (in the term following their second birthday). We hope that they have visited us with their carer beforehand to familiarise themselves with our names, faces, and the layout and routine of the nursery.
* If you wish your child to attend Rainbow Nursery then you should let us know at least one term before your child starts in order to secure a place.
